About Me...
Sarah Borg (was Milner) is a 'thirty-something' year old Violinist from Worthing who has been playing since the age of six.
Although she trained classically, she is interested in a wide variety of styles
and genres including folk, pop, and musical theatre.
Sarah trained at the University of Chichester and Graduated in 2009 with a degree in

Sarah is incredibly grateful for the musical opportunities she has been presented with over the years, such as playing as part of a traditional Irish band, touring
to Germany, Italy and the United States, and orchestrally accompanying
Nicola Benedetti (Violinist, Young Musician of the Year 2004),
and Joanna MacGregor (concert pianist, conductor, composer).
Other highlights have included having the opportunity to play
Pomp and Circumstance (‘Land Of Hope And Glory’)
at the Royal Albert Hall in 2008, and accompanying Grace Davies' (runner up) performance of 'Live and Let Die' on The X Factor Live Finals in 2017.

Since 2009, Sarah has worked hard to build up a business playing her violin in care homes,
entertaining residents for a variety of events and occasions, and has also played at festivals,
private functions, charity galas and conventions.
She is always excited at the prospect of a new challenge or venture!

In 2014, she expanded her business to include weddings, which has become a passion and genuine pleasure. Sarah has had the opportunity to play for some stunning traditional church,
registry office, town hall and hotel weddings, as well as some unique locations, including a
redwood forest, a bandstand, and a castle.

Sarah is completely in love with the work she does, finding it both rewarding and satisfying.
She has developed some amazing relationships with both residents and clients,
and has visited well over 100 care homes and centres, and played for over 60 weddings – so far!

Sarah’s great passion for musical theatre has led her from the Brighton Youth Orchestra and
Sussex Symphony Orchestra to orchestral pit bands for several musical productions in the area,
including Les Misérables, Hairspray, The Sound of Music, Legally Blonde, West Side Story,
and Seussical the Musical, as well as appearing on stage as an actor/musician in her ‘spare time’ in productions such as Fiddler On The Roof and Fame.

Sarah takes her work very seriously, but her main aim is to ensure people enjoy her music.
She is known for kicking her shoes off and dancing about with the residents as she
plays in care homes, and also for selecting music to create the right atmosphere to suit a wedding,
whether it is for that elegant and sophisticated mood,
or for a party spirit to remember!
